This year, Walnut Grove’s 5th graders will have the opportunity to attend Outdoor Education at Camp Sempervirens in Scotts Valley, CA, from Tuesday, October 20 through Friday, October 23, 2026. Students will spend four days and three nights immersed in nature, learning, exploring, and building community with their classmates.

All four Walnut Grove 5th grade classes will attend Outdoor Education together, making this a special opportunity for our entire 5th grade community to learn and grow together.

Thanks to funds raised through various fundraisers, the updated cost per student is $435, which includes lodging and meals at camp.

Please note that a small transaction fee is added to donations made through the website. Families may also donate by check with no transaction fee through Jamie Soares in the Walnut Grove front office. Checks should be made payable to Walnut Grove Elementary.
